Lookit.  I’m writing.  Pretty much because I’m confined to the bed after a nasty flu-related accident.  I…well, there’s just no classy way to say it really.  I projectile puked so hard that not only did I hit a wall 5 feet away, but I also managed to shred the muscles on the right side of my belly.  So I’ve been hobbling around for about 4 days now and finally broke down and went to the doctor yesterday.  After poking and prodding around, he chewed on his pen lid and muttered something about it possibly being gall bladder related.

Oh no.  Not the gall bladder.  All I could think about was that ignorant Jerry Lewis movie, “The Disorderly Orderly” and his reaction to a gall bladder afflicted patient.  I’m too young for gall bladder issues!  So I came home and got all hopped up on extra strength Tylenol and thankfully got some blessed relief.  I did manage to drag my decrepit self out to the kitchen this morning to monitor my child rather than calling her on the cell phone from the back of the house.  So I’m making progress, people.  Progress indeed.

Maybe when school starts back up in a couple of weeks I’ll be back in the blogging saddle with more tales of woe and stupidity.  You never can tell.

    Yay, you’re still alive!

Get well soon. Did Cali offer to help clean up the sick?

Heck to the no she didn’t clean up the sick! She stood on the sidelines talking about wanting me to go fetch her some pineapple and meatballs.

I had to have my Gall Bladder removed when I was 26 years old. If your Gall Bladder is sickly or has huge stones (like mine did) you’ll be glad once it is gone. I had no idea how much suffering I was enduring all because of that stupid thing.

What say thee?
