Parental Woes

26 Mar

Once upon a time there was a little girl who got sent to her room for punching her parents with a closed fist then busted out her bedroom window in a fit of rage and her parents tried to keep their cool but her Daddy had to go to Home Depot and cuss out an incompetent employee who couldn’t cut glass then he had to get a caulk gun because god only knows where the caulk gun went and the Mommy fell to her knees with her hands clasped in prayer asking god why.  Why?  WHY???!!!

True story.

So that’s where I’ve been.  I’m a struggling 40 year old mother who has entered the barren desert of peri-menopause.  Yeah.  It’s that bad.  Enjoy the slide show.

That one of the girl cutting up the doll looks like it could actually be Cali.

    Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY APRIL!

Did you get anything nice? Butt shoes perhaps…?

Not my birthday yet. It’s April 6th. Close enough!

Not being a parent of an actual human-type child, it’s hard for me to completely relate. I’ve noticed some signs of change in the air for me, as well. Plus, I had to put down my sweet little dog, Rupert.

So, I kind of get it – if that helps at all.

Poor Rupert! That totally trumps a busted out window.
